As a part of my artist in residency @bountifuldavisartcenter this summer, I’m revisiting an idea that I first explored in a 12†x 18†prototype in July of 2022. That initial prototype lead to at least two questions requiring further work. If the image phase experiment that I’m preparing here works, I’ll – eventually – take a look at the readability an image split into four phases.
I’m super grateful for @bountifuldavisartcenter for the residency opportunity this summer. It has provided much needed time and space to make concrete progress on the development of several work directions, and to better articulate what I’m doing in the process of creating these images.
