It’s one of those no-brainer things—- once you see it. 100 ml syringe- zero or tare on a scale, pull up 100 ml of glaze and measure again. I checked the 100 ml of water when I first started and it’s fine (tri-beam). I wish I could remember where I got the method. It’s about as accurate as anything that I’ve seen- and a bit more accurate than glaze coverage on a fingernail- and since filling Johnny’s kiln takes a while I have a hard time remembering- “This glaze should cover with cuticle visible. Or was that breaking?†I’m in town until next Sunday and then probably gone for 2 weeks. But it would be nice to catch up.
